About Wally Wang: 

Wally manages M&A and strategic investment for Fosun, A Global Fortune 500 with $100bn AUM, in U.S., Europe and Israel. Prior to Fosun, Wally co-founded an AI cybersecurity company backed by top VCs and joined Plug and Play accelerator. Before that, Wally led a world leading AI company: DataVisor’s Asia expansion. He also helped wearable tech brand Misfit enter Asia and successfully got acquired at $260 million. Wally started his career in Silicon Valley as the founding data scientist at Y Combinator backed Pebble Watch and also worked a stint at Microsoft Bing Ads. He was a Venture Partner at China Growth Capital investing in the U.S. including AppZen and Qventus. Wally holds BEng from Tsinghua University and studied his PhD at NYU Stern Business School. He was also a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University. He serves as the advisor at Alchemist Accelerator, Berkeley SkyDeck and Stanford StartX.
